
Dr Christopher Heyes
Consultant Dermatologist
Dr Chris Heyes obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in addition to a concurrent Honours degree in Medical Science and a Bachelor of Arts (History). After working at Fremantle Hospital, he subsequently obtained a Masters degree in
Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
Dr Heyes completed his Dermatology specialist training in Victoria working at Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Alfred Hospital, Peter MacCullum Cancer Centre and Royal Children’s Hospital. Upon completion of his training he was awarded both the FACD Travelling Fellowship (for highest overall score in national Fellowship Exams) and the Founder’s Medal for Surgery, enabling him to pursue further Dermatology training in London and Oxford.
He is a Consultant Dermatologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital where he is involved in the teaching and supervision of Dermatology trainees and medical students. Dr Heyes has an interest in all aspects of skin disease with sub-specialty interests in skin cancer and melanoma management, cutaneous surgery, acne, psoriasis, eczema, vitiligo and he is PBS-registered provider of injectable medicines for axillary hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). He endeavours to provide a friendly and professional service to his patients.
