When is Rhenium-SCT Used?
Rhenium-SCT may be considered for certain non-melanoma skin cancers following clinical assessment and confirmation of diagnosis. It may be an option for:
- Skin cancers in surgically difficult areas, including the face, nose, ears, neck and fingers.
- Patients who are unsuitable for or prefer to avoid surgery.
- Patients for whom extended courses of radiotherapy may be impractical.
