Merge your Practice with DermCo
Work with DermCo
The design of the DermCo model is informed by an awareness of changing workforce expectations. Older dermatologists now frequently struggle to sell their practices, often being forced to close permanently once they retire. Meanwhile, younger dermatologists report an increasing reluctance to invest in, or take over existing practices. They are also hesitant to to take on the financial uncertainty and operational headache of establishing a new practice. To help bridge this gap, DermCo has created a mechanism to objectively value Dermatology practices. This allows dermatology principals considering retirement to merge their practice into DermCo in exchange for equity (or a combination of cash and equity). Further, this ensures that both retiring principals and their younger successors can free themselves from the unwanted administrative burden of practice management.
