Dr Anne Halbert MB BS (Hons) FACD
Anne graduated with honours from the University of Western Australia Medical Faculty in 1987, winning the AMA medal for first place.
After training in dermatology in Perth she became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 1994. She then undertook a fellowship in paediatric dermatology and laser in Denver, Colorado.
On returning to Perth she commenced private practice and became a sessional Consultant Dermatologist at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children (now Perth Children’s Hospital), where she was Head of Department for seventeen years.
Anne is interested in all aspects of neonatal, paediatric and adolescent dermatology. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology with the University of Western Australia, teaching medical students, general practitioners, paediatric and dermatology trainees.
She has published on a wide range of paediatric dermatology topics and regularly presents at the Australasian College of Dermatologist’s annual meetings. She is on the Board of Directors of the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology and on the Board of Directors of DermCo.
