Wrinkles & Fine Lines
Wrinkles and fine lines develop as part of the natural ageing process. A consultation can help determine suitable treatment options to support your individual skin concerns.
Understanding Wrinkles and Fine Lines
Wrinkles do not all form in the same way. They vary in depth, visibility, and underlying cause, often reflecting a combination of natural ageing, facial movement, and cumulative environmental exposure.
Fine lines: These are superficial lines that commonly appear around areas of frequent movement such as the eyes, mouth, and forehead. They may become more noticeable when the skin is dehydrated or when facial expressions are made, and can often improve in appearance with hydration and skin support.
Dynamic wrinkles: Dynamic wrinkles develop as a result of repeated facial muscle movement over time. Common examples include frown lines between the eyebrows and around the eyes. These lines are most visible during facial expressions and are influenced by both muscle activity and ongoing skin ageing.
Static wrinkles: Static wrinkles are deeper, more established lines that remain visible even when the face is at rest. They typically develop gradually due to ongoing collagen loss, reduced skin elasticity, and structural changes within the deeper layers of the skin. These wrinkles reflect longer-term changes in skin support and firmness.
Ageing may contribute to gradual changes in the appearance of these areas:

Forehead Lines
