Excel V®- Vascular Laser

Vascular Laser Treatment

Excel V® laser treatments can target visible redness, broken capillaries, facial veins, and pigmentation to help reveal a more even-looking complexion.

Facial redness, broken capillaries, and visible veins are common skin concerns that many people experience over time. They can appear due to genetics, sun exposure, ageing, or skin conditions such as Rosacea. While these changes are harmless, they can make the skin appear flushed, uneven, or sensitive.

One treatment option that can help reduce these visible vessels is vascular laser therapy using the Excel V® Laser. This advanced laser technology is designed to specifically target the tiny blood vessels beneath the surface of the skin that contribute to redness and visible veins.

How does the Excel V® laser work?

The Excel V® Laser is an advanced laser system that combines two different wavelengths of light. These carefully calibrated pulses of laser energy are delivered directly to the targeted blood vessels within the skin.

The laser energy gently heats the vessels, causing them to constrict and eventually collapse. Over time, the body naturally reabsorbs these treated vessels, allowing them to gradually fade from view while leaving the surrounding skin unharmed.

This targeted approach makes Excel V® highly effective for treating vascular-related skin concerns while maintaining the integrity of the surrounding tissue.

What skin concerns can Excel V® treat?

Excel V® vascular laser treatments are commonly used to address a range of visible vascular concerns, including:

  • Facial redness and flushing

  • Rosacea

  • Broken capillaries

  • Spider veins

  • Visible facial blood vessels

  • Redness around the nose and cheeks

  • Vascular birthmarks such as Port-Wine Stain

  • Red acne scars

  • Pigmentation and sun-related skin changes

Your practitioner will assess your skin and determine whether Excel V® is the most appropriate treatment for your specific concern.

What to expect during your treatment.

During the procedure, a handheld laser device is passed over the treatment area, delivering short pulses of laser energy to the targeted vessels. The Excel V® system includes a built-in cooling feature designed to help keep the skin comfortable during treatment.

Most sessions are relatively quick, depending on the size of the area being treated. Patients often describe the sensation as a light snapping or warming feeling on the skin.

After treatment, some mild redness or slight swelling may occur, but this usually settles within a short period. Some vessels may fade immediately, while others gradually disappear over the following weeks as the body naturally clears them away. Depending on the condition being treated and the severity of the redness or vessels, a series of treatments may be recommended for the best outcome.
